WHAT ARE RGON RADIATORS MADE FROM?
Rgon radiators are manufactured from natural minerals including soapstone and composites which are 100% recylable. The heating core of the electric version is made up of a highly insulated heating element. Central Heating radiators are heated by hot water circulating in copper tubes tested at over 15 bars of pressure. Buried at the heart of each Rgon radiator, the heating core transfers heat to a mineral composite for controlled diffusion. Natural pigments are used in the colour range.
HOW HOT DO RGON RADIATORS GET?
The surface temperature is limited by built in heat sensors to 65°C.
HOW DO RGON RADIATORS HEAT MY HOME?
Rgon radiators heat by radiation which means that they heat evenly without aggressively scorching the air, this produces a genuine sense of wellbeing and cosy warmth. Used since classical times the radiators constituent materials are known for their excellent thermal properties.
The heat produced at the core of each radiator is accumulated in the composite material and slowly realeased over a long period, thus optimising energy consumption.
WHAT MAKES RGON RADIATORS UNIQUE?
Each radiator is unique and hand finished with intended subtle colour variations from the natural pigments used in the production process. Radiators designed with fine, delicate lines using historical, animal and mythical themes by sculptor Catherine Lamps. Your radiator will be signed by the artist and is an individual work of art, hand finished to be enjoyed every day.

WHAT SAFETY STANDARDS TO RGON RADIATORS MEET?
Production quality is ensured by a traceability programme in which each radiator has an archived 'life chart'. Radiators are tested for composite fatigue in extreme conditions. RGON Radiators are manufactured to approved safety standards and carry the identifiers CE EN 60334-2 certification. Central core heaters are designated EN 442. Radiators have been tested for a life span of over 20 years.
